Es decir, durante los periodos de restricci\u00f3n se puede consumir agua u otros l\u00edquidos que no contengan calor\u00edas (como el caf\u00e9 solo o el t\u00e9, sin az\u00facar) y el resto del tiempo se hace una ingesta de las calor\u00edas regulares, no se hace ninguna restricci\u00f3n cal\u00f3rica. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div metab\u00f3lico, no solo facilitando la p\u00e9rdida de peso, sino tambi\u00e9n mejorando la salud y el rendimiento deportivo, tanto a corto como a largo plazo. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s, el ayuno tambi\u00e9n tiene efecto sobre la salud psicol\u00f3gica, vi\u00e9ndose en algunos momentos que mayoritariamente aumenta el mal humor o la irritabilidad durante los momentos de no ingesta, aunque tambi\u00e9n aumenta algunas experiencias positivas como el orgullo, el control, la sensaci\u00f3n de recompensa, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5a9646a elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"5a9646a\" elementor-size-default\">Estrategias de ayuno y beneficios<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1adcdc9 elementor-widget class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diariamente hacemos ayuno, durante las horas de sue\u00f1o. Las estrategias de ayuno intermitente aprovechan este periodo para alargar el tiempo entre la primera comida del d\u00eda de la \u00faltima. Una de las estrategias que m\u00e1s se utiliza es la de 16:8 (16 horas de ayuno y 8 horas sin restricci\u00f3n). Aun as\u00ed, es un t\u00e9rmino que puede abarcar muchos tipos de patrones de ingesta; otro tipo de estrategia es la diaria, por ejemplo la 5:2 (estar 5 d\u00edas de la semana comiendo la ingesta habitual y dos d\u00edas solo ingiriendo el 25% de la ingesta cal\u00f3rica habitual).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hay que tener en cuenta que cada patr\u00f3n ser\u00e1 aplicable a un tipo de persona, no se puede generalizar, debido a las diferencias entre los estilos de vida, la dieta, el estado de salud y muchos otros aspectos que se deben tener en cuenta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A nivel general, los<\/span><b> beneficios<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que aporta el ayuno intermitente pueden ser diferentes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><i>Beneficios a corto plazo<\/i>:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reducci\u00f3n de las calor\u00edas totales a resultado de una ventana de alimentaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s corta<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cambios en el sustrato metab\u00f3lico: aumentado el consumo de grasas y mejorando la sensibilidad a la insulina\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aumentar la utilizaci\u00f3n de grasa y reducir los almacenes de estas\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beneficios en la p\u00e9rdida de peso, reducci\u00f3n de la circunferencia de la cintura y optimizaci\u00f3n del % de grasa corporal\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><i>Beneficios a largo plazo<\/i>:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reducci\u00f3n de las calor\u00edas totales a resultado de una ventana de alimentaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s corta<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disminuci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n de las especias reactivas de ox\u00edgeno, aumento de la actividad antioxidante y mejora de la regulaci\u00f3n de los ritmos circadianos\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reducci\u00f3n de la inflamaci\u00f3n celular y aumento de la autofagia (proceso por el cual se reciclan las estructuras del interior de las c\u00e9lulas)\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como hemos visto, esta estrategia no requiere de una restricci\u00f3n cal\u00f3rica. Por este motivo, si no se aprende a llevar una dieta saludable, durante las horas de no restricci\u00f3n puede haber una sobrealimentaci\u00f3n. Teniendo en cuenta que mucha gente est\u00e1 interesada en esta estrategia nutricional para la p\u00e9rdida de peso, puede no ser la m\u00e1s adecuada, debido a que se puede producir el efecto contrario a consecuencia de no tener una buena alimentaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una de las estrategias que se podr\u00eda utilizar para mantener la saciedad durante las horas de ayuno en los periodos de ingesta y evitar la sobrealimentaci\u00f3n seria aumentar los requerimientos de prote\u00ednas.
