En muchos de estos casos, el origen no est\u00e1 solo en lo que se come, sino en c\u00f3mo el intestino lo gestiona. Aqu\u00ed es donde entra en juego el <strong data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"720\">SIBO (sobrecrecimiento bacteriano en el intestino delgado)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"723\" data-end=\"860\">Comprender qu\u00e9 es el SIBO y c\u00f3mo la <a href=\"https:\/\/institute.nutritionalcoaching.com\/curso\/experto-en-trastornos-digestivos-funcionales-un-enfoque-integral\/\"><strong data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"806\">nutrici\u00f3n influye en su desarrollo y manejo<\/strong><\/a> es clave para mejorar los s\u00edntomas y evitar reca\u00eddas.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"862\" data-end=\"865\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"921\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el SIBO desde una perspectiva nutricional?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"1206\">El SIBO se produce cuando hay una <strong data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1015\">cantidad excesiva de bacterias en el intestino delgado<\/strong>, una zona que no est\u00e1 preparada para una fermentaci\u00f3n intensa. Cuando estas bacterias fermentan los alimentos antes de tiempo, se generan gases y sustancias que provocan s\u00edntomas digestivos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1208\" data-end=\"1444\">Desde la nutrici\u00f3n, esto explica por qu\u00e9 <strong data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1287\">alimentos aparentemente saludables<\/strong> (fruta, verduras, legumbres o cereales integrales) pueden sentar mal a ciertas personas: no es el alimento en s\u00ed, sino <strong data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1443\">d\u00f3nde y c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1 fermentando<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1449\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1451\" data-end=\"1495\">Tipos de SIBO y su relaci\u00f3n con la dieta<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1602\">Actualmente se reconocen distintos perfiles de SIBO seg\u00fan el gas predominante que producen las bacterias:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"2119\">\n<li data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1764\">\n<p data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1764\"><strong data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1642\">SIBO con predominio de hidr\u00f3geno<\/strong><br data-start=\"1642\" data-end=\"1645\" \/>Suele asociarse a diarrea, gases y distensi\u00f3n abdominal. Los carbohidratos fermentables suelen empeorar los s\u00edntomas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1766\" data-end=\"1953\">\n<p data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1953\"><strong data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1793\">SIBO con metano (IMO)<\/strong><br data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"1796\" \/>M\u00e1s relacionado con estre\u00f1imiento y tr\u00e1nsito lento. En estos casos, la restricci\u00f3n excesiva de alimentos puede agravar el problema si no se planifica bien.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2119\">\n<p data-start=\"1957\" data-end=\"2119\"><strong data-start=\"1957\" data-end=\"1990\">SIBO con sulfuro de hidr\u00f3geno<\/strong><br data-start=\"1990\" data-end=\"1993\" \/>Vinculado a diarrea intensa y urgente.
