Por ejemplo, es m\u00e1s la gente que pide Coca-cola Zero \u00ae que la normal, pensar que la primera no lleva az\u00facar, da una falsa sensaci\u00f3n de \u201cm\u00e1s saludable\u201d. La etiqueta de 0 az\u00facares, gana mucho a nivel de m\u00e1rketing y permite captar la atenci\u00f3n de la gente, cada vez m\u00e1s consciente de las consecuencias de un abuso del az\u00facar blanco y refinado.<\/p><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12978\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/edulcorantes.png?resize=670%2C448&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"670\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/edulcorantes.png?w=631&amp;ssl=1 631w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/edulcorantes.png?resize=300%2C201&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/edulcorantes.png?resize=600%2C401&amp;ssl=1 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/p><p>Existen estudios que pueden parecer contradictorios, ya que algunos muestran beneficios en cuanto a la respuesta glic\u00e9mica y otros muestran una relaci\u00f3n directa con el aumento de peso e intolerancia a la glucosa (diabetes tipo II).<\/p><p>La mayor\u00eda de los edulcorantes de mercado no son digeridos por el tracto intestinal, una de las causas por las que se consideran inocuos, sin embargo, debido a esto, llegan directamente hasta nuestra microbiota y pueden ejercer una acci\u00f3n sobre \u00e9sta.<\/p><p>Como sabemos, las bacterias que conforman nuestra microbiota pueden influir directamente en nuestros procesos metab\u00f3licos\u00a0 y la activaci\u00f3n de determinadas v\u00edas. Se sabe por ejemplo que personas obesas tienen una mayor relaci\u00f3n del Phylum Firmicutes\/Bacteroidetes, al contrario que\u00a0 las personas no obesas. Este simple hecho provoca por ejemplo que las personas con mayor poblaci\u00f3n de Firmicutes obtengan m\u00e1s energ\u00eda de aquello que digieren, traduci\u00e9ndose en un mayor aporte cal\u00f3rico.<\/p><p>Existen estudios que muestran que algunos edulcorantes modifican este ratio, disminuyendo las bacterias del phylum bacteroidetes o aumentando el phylum firmicutes, por lo tanto promoviendo una disbiosis, favoreciendo procesos relacionados con la resistencia a la insulina, dislipemia, entre muchos otros.<\/p><p>Edulcorantes como polioles (lactitol, maltitol, sorbitol, xilitol\u2026), tienen algunos \u00a0beneficios como que son no-cariog\u00e9nicos, no interfieren en los niveles de glucosa e insulina en sangre, sin embargo, un exceso de \u00e9stos puede provocar s\u00edntomas intestinales y laxantes (diarreas osm\u00f3ticas), lo cual puede empeorar sintomatolog\u00eda de enfermedades como S\u00edndrome del Intestino Irritable.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12981\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/microbiota.png?resize=670%2C1007&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"670\" height=\"1007\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/microbiota.png?w=420&amp;ssl=1 420w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/microbiota.png?resize=300%2C451&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nutritionalcoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/microbiota.png?resize=200%2C300&amp;ssl=1 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/p><p>Por otra parte, estudios muestran que algunos de ellos son capaces de disminuir la s\u00edntesis de AGCC (Acidos Grasos de cadena corta), los cuales tienen una importante acci\u00f3n en la prevenci\u00f3n de resistencia de la insulina, mejora de la dislipemia y en definitiva, efectos antiobesog\u00e9nicos.<\/p><p>Por tanto, no debemos descuidar el uso extendido de los edulcorantes, no siempre son mejor opci\u00f3n que el propio az\u00facar y deber\u00edamos vigilar la cantidad que ingerimos de \u00e9stos.
